Taito Type X Games - Prevent Auto Rotate
« on: March 20, 2019, 12:07:21 pm »
Hello all,

I have a Hyperspin setup with a 42' tv mounted vertically. Everything runs fine except Taito Type X/X2 games. Vertical games such as Raiden III and IV auto rotate my screen. I found a hacky way to get Raiden IV to work tho, I have a batch file that runs after the game loads that rotates my screen 90 degrees , then when the game auto-rotates to adjust it is actually right. It doesn't work for Raiden III tho, I swear it worked once , but never again. Anyway is there a way to disable the Auto Rotate when these games launch? Has anyone figured this out? Im not sure where it does it, somewhere in the ahk ? Im just not that familiar with Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher to figure it out.

How are you launching the games? Don't use those .bat files that come with the game download. Use Gameloader All RH .. it has a ton of options to run these games however you want. There's a checkbox for rotating the screen (or not). I actually wish it could be used for everything, its so useful.
