I've just installed Windows 10 x64 and CRT Emudriver with my ATI Radeon HD 6450 card.  I've also installed ATOM-15.  However, I'm having a few problems.

The BIOS POST screen shows at 15 kHz and looks fine.  However, the Windows boot animation (the spinning dots before the login screen) causes the monitor to go out of sync.  Is this normal?  (maybe it's outputting 31 kHz?)

The bigger problem is that when I start a game in GroovyMAME (such as Marvel vs Capcom [mvsc]), it displays like this:

Afterwards, it reports SwitchRes:

I followed the instructions exactly on the CRT Emudriver 2.0 page but I'm not sure what is going on?

Try the things in that post just above. If those are no help - which version of the driver are you using, and which install guide did you follow? Your post doesn't make the exact details clear ;)

And please post up a log, see the how-to in Calamity's signature.

Yes, it's the fastboot issue.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Thanks!  It looks like that was the problem.  When I reboot the problem disappears so I disabled fastboot and it appears to have fixed the problem.

However, is it normal for the games to look very blurry?

Here is Marvel vs Capcom:

I'm using a Radeon HD 6450 with VGA to a Crescendo TC1600 (VGA -> Component) using high quality VGA and component cables to my Toshiba 27A34 CRT.

Also, Arkanoid seems to be using a refresh rate out of spec for my CRT?

SwitchRes: [arkanoid] (1) vertical (224x256@59.185...)->(768x512@58.483753)

I've tried re-running VMMaker and selecting ARCADE_15 (standard) and Generic 15 kHz (and re-created/installed modes/rebooted) but it didn't help.

Use super resolutions instead. The blur is normal on the info text since the resolution is so low.

To solve the Arkanoid issue, use generic_15 instead of arcade_15, once you have installed super resolutions.
