Rowe R87 not selecting record

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been posted before but used search and returned nothing, my friend has a Rowe R87 and it's got developed a problem with the carousel not selecting a record it just spins back around to 00. For example if he inputs 123 it will cycle round the carousel and end up at 00.
